LegalDirectory.org.uk is an independent directory of commercial law firms. We are not a law firm, we do not provide legal advice, and we are not authorised or regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
Regulatory information such as SRA numbers, authorisation status and firm type is sourced from the SRA. Firms may add their own descriptions, services and sector experience after claiming their profile.
Who we are for
The directory is designed for businesses rather than consumers. Search categories, guides and firm profiles focus on commercial legal work such as contracts, corporate transactions, disputes, employment, property and regulatory matters.
Coverage
The SRA regulates law firms in England and Wales, so the directory currently covers those jurisdictions only. Support for other UK regulators may be added in future, and would be clearly labelled as a separate source.
How we make money
Businesses use the directory free of charge. Firms can claim and enrich their profile free of charge. We do not sell organic search positions. If sponsored placements are introduced, they will be clearly labelled as such.
